Roles and Responsibilities of IQAC
To establish and maintain quality of education in Chitwan Medical College.
To develop a system to improve and sustain the academic and administrative performance of Chitwan Medical College
To make the quality as an integral part of the system towards academic excellence.
To develop and implement quality parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the institution
To disseminate information on various quality parameters of higher education
Organization of different developmental activities e.g., conference, workshops, training and seminar to enhance the institutional quality.
Documentation of various activities leading to quality improvement.
Supervision of institutional activities as per the Quality Assurance and Accreditation (QAA) Indicators.
To facilitate Inter-unit coordination and interaction, mentoring for progression of quality education
Develop local, regional, national, and international linkages and networking for quality enhancement of education, research and other activities.
To make recommendations to Governing body for prompt actions to improve the quality of education in Chitwan Medical College.
To review the curriculum content and design periodically.
To involve in ongoing revision and evaluation of curriculum.
Recommend appropriate allocation of resources to support curriculum
Ensure periodic review of objectives, policies and plan a program for improvement activities which advances the curriculum.
To plan and conduct examination in scheduled dates and time
Develops, implement, and evaluates innovative teaching methods in the curriculum.
Review all students and staff feedbacks and recommendations periodically and utilize information to improve the curriculum.
To ensure compliance with the laid down and applicable legislation and regulations.
To ensure compliance with medical college vision, mission and quality objectives.
