Chitwan Medical College (CMC), School of Pharmacy offers the four-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) program, with a mission to cater and supply a steady stream of highly competent pharmacy graduates required for the country and to contribute knowledge in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences.
Chitwan Medical College (CMC), School of Pharmacy offers the four-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) program, with a mission to cater and supply a steady stream of highly competent pharmacy graduates required for the country and to contribute knowledge in pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences. The program has been inspired by the values that pharmacists should be the vital members of the health care team and on graduation they will hold job either in government or private sector in important areas such as community pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, regulatory control and drug management, pharmaceutical industry, quality assurance, academic activities, training activities and research.

The goal of the BPharm program is to produce competent and qualified pharmaceutical workforce who could provide pharmaceutical services in the capacity of community and hospital pharmacists; specialists in technology and advanced research; managers of pharmaceutical services and specialists in various scientific aspects of pharmacy and those who could ensure better pharmacy practice in the hospital and pharmaceutical industries.

International students should have an eligibility certificate from the concerned authority of their country, a valid student visa (if visa is required to stay in Nepal) and eligibility certificate issued by IoM or Ministry of Education of Nepal.
After fulfilling the aforementioned criteria, students have to visit CMC College along with the guardians and have to present the original copies of all the academic certificates. Thereafter, students have to fill up necessary documents and agreement papers as per the rules and requirements of CMC.
Successful candidates will have to undergo medical test by a Medical Board constituted by the College and must be declared fit for final admission.
The BPharm course is of four academic years affiliated to Institute of Medicine (IOM), Tribhuvan University (TU), concentrating mainly on professional pharmacy courses and the supplementary subjects which are essential for the professional pharmacy courses.

Students should be in the prescribed dress code of the institute in college/hospital premises. No student will be allowed to enter the college compound without proper uniform in college days. CMC believes appropriate dressing is important for creation of positive learning environment.
