Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging Technology (B.Sc. MIT) is a 4-year academic program at the Institute of Medicine (IOM). Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging Technology focuses on the innumerable technical procedures for diagnosing various diseases processes. This program is designed to meet the new requirements of the health sector, wherein the students are educated & trained in the technical aspects of the procedures, with a special emphasis on the basis anatomy & pathophysiology of the disease process. The Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging Technology or Radiographic Technology gives students the knowledge and skills required to practice radiography profession. The Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging Technology or Radiographic Technology offered by the Tribhuvan University can be completed within four years. The discipline focuses on the diverse technical techniques for detecting several diseases process. It is introduced to meet the contemporary necessities of the health sector. The program gives students education and training in the technical facets of the procedures with a major stress on the pathophysiology & anatomy of the disease process. The coursework comprises of classroom learning, fieldwork or practicum. The degree is acknowledged by Nepal Health Professional Council.

International students should have an eligibility certificate from the concerned authority of their country, a valid student visa (if visa is required to stay in Nepal) and eligibility certificate issued by IoM or Ministry of Education of Nepal.
After fulfilling the aforementioned criteria, students have to visit CMC College along with the guardians and have to present the original copies of all the academic certificates. Thereafter, students have to fill up necessary documents and agreement papers as per the rules and requirements of CMC.
Successful candidates will have to undergo medical test by a Medical Board constituted by the College and must be declared fit for final admission.

Students should be in the prescribed dress code of the institute in college/hospital premises. No student will be allowed to enter the college compound without proper uniform in college days. CMC believes appropriate dressing is important for creation of positive learning environment.
